RRB NTPC Result – Facts

• RRB NTPC CBT Stage 1 Examination is the largest exam of 2016 in so far as the number of aspirants is concerned.
• More than five hundred candidates will compete for 1 post. The ratio stands at 1:500. So only the best will get through.
• RRB NTPC CBT Stage 1 Exam was held in 2016 after a gap of 3 years. Hence, the volume of the number of candidates appearing for the exam.

RRB NTPC Result Timeline

• RRB NTPC Result for 1st Stage CBT Exam is being eagerly awaited by one and all. Regional Railway Boards (RRBs) of various zones were supposed to announce the RRB NTPC Result 2016 in mid November.
• There was some respite for aspirants when RRB Thiruvanathapuram, on November 18th uploaded the RRB NTPC Result on its website. Minutes after uploading the RRB NTPC Result, RRB Thiruvananthapuram removed the result, keeping lakhs of aspirants waiting.
• A notice has now been put on the website which states the following,”Few of RRB’s websites run on private server including the Thiruvananthapuram Board. We are trying to bring all the Board’s websites on the NIC server. On November 18, we were testing the website and therefore temporarily uploaded the data. The final results are not out yet.”
• On November 19th, RRB Ranchi, RRB Allahabad and RRB Secunderabad were supposed to announce their respective RRB NTPC Result but that too got deferred.
• In the last week of November, A was put on the RRB Thiruvananthapuram website which stated the following,”Few of RRB’s websites run on private server including the Thiruvananthapuram Board. We are trying to bring all the Board’s websites on the NIC server. On November 18, we were testing the website and therefore temporarily uploaded the data. The final results are not out yet.”
• The RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 is now expected to be uploaded on the respective RRB websites this month ie. December.

RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 Exam 2016

Various Railway Recruitment Boards conducted the Non-Technical Posts Exam from 28th March to 30 April 2016. The Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination was held for more than 18,252 vacant seats in Railway Department. More than 92 lakh candidates applied for the RRB NTPC exam and close to 50 lakh appeared for the CBT examination. In certain regions due to various circumstances, the RRB NTPC exam was rescheduled and held on dates deemed fit by respective RRBs . Previous Update: As per our trusted sources, various Railway Recruitment Boards(RRBs) are expected to release the RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 Exam any day now. An official notice is also likely to be put up on the website that will state the reasons for the delay in CBT Stage 1 RRB NTPC result. It is good that RRBs will issue an official notice because it owes a valid explanation to students. RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 Examination is being eagerly awaited by candidates. Its been more than 6 months since the exam was first held.

Previous Update: In a disappointing move, RRB Secunderabad and RRB Allahabad uploaded their respective RRB NTPC Results early this morning and withdrew them within minutes. No notice has been put so far to explain this activity. This is the second time that RRB NTPC Result has been withdrawn after being announced. RRB Thiruvanathapuram had previously done a similar activity and had left the students anxious because many had thought that finally the RRB NTPC Result was announced. This puts a lot of aspirants in a position of uncertainty and even disappointment.

Candidates are now losing their cool and many have even protested outside various Zonal RRB Offices recently. Candidates are increasingly getting a feeling that Regional Railway Recruitment Boards have not been at all responsible in declaring the RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 Exam on Time. Railway Recruitment Boards across the nation have taken way too much time in declaring the RRB NTPC Result for CBT Stage 1 Examination. The worst impact is being felt on those students who gave an excellent attempt and were hoping to get through Stage 1. They did not fill any other competitive exams for the current academic year. We sincerely wish and hope that all zonal RRBs release the RRB NTPC Result in this week itself. The patience of candidates have been tested enough. They need closure, no matter what their exam result.

RRB NTPC Exam : Change in Pattern

A lot of aspirants were anxious as to why RRB NTPC Pattern is changed. The following reasons came to the fore –

The following notice was officially uploaded by RRBs in regards to the changed RRB NTPC Process – “RRBs will hold a 2nd stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for various NTPC (Graduate) category posts, in terms of Para 8.12 and 14.03 of CEN No. 03/2015. Candidates equal to 15 times of vacancies shall be called for 2nd stage CBT based on the merit position in the CBT held during 28/03/2016 to 03/05/2016 (hereinafter called 1st Stage CBT). Final selection of candidates will be based on merit position obtained in the 2nd stage CBT and/or result of Aptitude Test/Typing Skill Test wherever applicable. Normalisation of marks will be done as per extant rules in 1st and 2nd stage CBT. 2nd stage CBT is likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The duration of 2nd stage CBT will be of 90 minutes covering 120 multiple choice objective questions. The date(s) of 2nd stage CBT shall be published on RRB’s website in due course.
