Pay scale ( वेतन ) : The salary or honorarium and other allowances payable to the members of the State Commission shall be such as prescribed in Rule No.7 of Maharashtra Consumer Protection Rules, 2000.

Eligibility criteria ( योग्यता ) : i. Must be a Citizen of India; ii. Be not less than thirty-five years of age; iii. Possess a bachelor’s degree from a University recognized by U.G.C.; iv. Be persons of ability, integrity and standing and have adequate knowledge and experience of at least ten years in dealing with problems relating to economics, law, commerce, accountancy, industry, public affairs or administration, consumer disputes, etc.; v. Shall have knowledge of speaking, reading and writing Marathi and a capacity to translate Marathi into English and vice versa; vi. Shall have good knowledge of computer applications and work on computer.

The candidate should mention on envelope “Application for the appointment for the post of Non-Judicial Member, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Maharashtra”. (Application received after the cut of date, as mentioned above will not be considered on any ground including postal delay).

General instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : The candidates shall submit the application in prescribed format only.
