Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a special scholarship program launched with an intention to encourage students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering, and medicine. Every Year a huge number of exceptionally talented and highly motivated students are taking part in this examination to take up the advantages of this scheme. KVPY program is running under Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. The scheme was launched during in Tenure of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1999.

KVPY Hall Ticket 2016
The online registration was complete during 18th July 2016 to 30th August 2016. All the students who enrolled undergraduate course in Basic Sciences in following stream i.e. B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science have applied.
Candidate selection will be based on aptitude test conducted both in Hindi and English on 6th November 2016(Sunday). The exam is scheduled to be held across the country. Students will have to collect their seat number is published in the KVPY Exam Admit Card.

After an announcement of KVPY Result 2016, the department will prepare a list of qualified candidates and on the basis of it, students will be asked to attend Interview round. The decision of authorized persons shall remain final. No further clarification or requests will be accepted.

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship program that aims at encouraging young students to take up research in basic science. It is administered by Indian Institute of Science (IISc). KVPY Results 2017 have been delcared. The exam for the KVPY fellowship programme is conducted every year in the month of November and the interview for the same is held in between January to February.
